Peach-Topped Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
water
3 eggs
2 to 3 ripe peaches
1 c. margarine
1 tsp. almond extract
sugar
1/2 c. apple jelly, melted
Preparation

Put 1 cup of the flour in a mixing bowl.
Cut in 1/2 cup of the margarine to form even crumbs.
With a fork, lightly mix in about 2 tablespoons water to form a moist dough.
Press dough out on a greased baking sheet to shape into a thin strip, 12 to 15-inches long and 3 to 5-inches wide.
