Almond Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. (1 1/2 c.) almonds with skins
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. soft margarine
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Grate nuts; do not grind!
    Put nuts, flour and sugar in bowl. Blend in margarine with fingers or pastry blender.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Shape into 2 long blocks, 2 inches square. Wrap in wax paper; chill or freeze overnight.
    Cut into 1/8-inch slices.
    Put on cookie sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove at once to racks to cool.
    Yields 5 dozen.
    Store in airtight containers.
    Will not ship well.
