French Toast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup butter
    1/4 cup + 2 tsp. molasses
    1 1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 loaf French bread
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 cups milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook butter, molasses and brown sugar for 5 minutes until thick.
    Put in bottom of 9x13 dish.
    Slice bread (1 1/2 inch slices) and place on top of sauce.
    Mix eggs, milk, salt and vanilla.
    Pour over bread.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Before baking, mix 3 Tbsp. sugar and 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon; sprinkle over bread. Melt 1/4 cup butter and drizzle over top.
    Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
    Serves
    6-8 people.
    (Recipe can easily be doubled or halved.)
    Good for breakfast or brunch.
