Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 small onion (optional)
    1 (16 oz.) box seashell macaroni
    1 (8 oz.) box elbow macaroni
    1 (32 oz.) tomato juice
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil water in a 32 ounce Dutch oven. Add seashell macaroni; add elbow macaroni.
    Cook on medium-high until macaroni is tender. Drain; leave covered.
    Brown hamburger.
    Season to taste (chopped onion with hamburger).
    Drain hamburger; add to drained macaroni. Add tomato juice; simmer until juice thickens.
