Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. margarine
    2 eggs
    2 c. milk or buttermilk
    2 c. cornmeal
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    4 tsp. hot water
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine margarine and sugar; add eggs and salt.
    Alternate adding flour, cornmeal and milk.
    Lastly add soda dissolved in boiling water.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch greased pan at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
