Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. beef chunks, browned
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato juice
    approximately 1/2 c. chopped onion
    4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    2 bay leaves
    1 lb. can tomatoes
    1 c. diced celery
    1 can whole kernel corn
    1 c. diced potatoes
    1 small can green beans
Preparation
    Combine meat, tomato juice, onion, seasonings and water in large kettle.
    Cover and simmer 2 hours.
    Add vegetables and cook approximately 1 hour.
    During the last 15 or 20 minutes of cooking time, chopped cabbage or 1 cup of frozen peas can be added.
