Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 c. blackberries
    3 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. soda
    nutmeg and cloves to taste
    allspice and cinnamon to taste
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs; beat well after each addition.
    Add blackberries, juice also.
    Then together add flour, soda and all spices.
    Pour into 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0 or bake 55 to 60 minutes in a tube pan.
    Use icing of choice.
    I use cream cheese!
