Ingredients

2 eggs
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour (approximately)
Preparation

Cream together the eggs, sugar and shortening.
Sift dry ingredients.
Add to the sugar mixture alternately with milk.
Add vanilla.
More flour can be used to get the right texture for rolling out cookies.
Roll out on floured board and cut into desired shapes.
Sprinkle with sugar and bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown.
