Taco Fiesta Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, blended until smooth
    1 (16 oz.) sour cream
    1 small (2 oz.) pkg. taco mix (such as McCormick brand)
    1 (16 oz.) jar smooth mild salsa or chunky salsa blended in a blender or processor
    2 pkg. tortilla chips
    1 c. red pepper, chopped
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. onions, chopped
    5 to 6 plum tomatoes, chopped
    1 can black olives, cut in quarters
    1 (16 oz.) shredded Mexican cheese or cheese of your choice
Preparation
    Blend together cream cheese, sour cream, taco mix and salsa until smooth.
    Spread on a 12-inch tray (such as a pizza tray). Layer the vegetables on top of the dip, finishing with the shredded cheese.
    Serve with the tortilla chips.
