Hobo Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. boiled water
    2 c. dark raisins
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. salad oil
Preparation
    Mix baking soda and water together and pour over raisins; let stand overnight.
    Next morning, sift together the flour, sugar and salt.
    Stir in raisin mixture.
    Add oil and stir well.
    Batter will be thick.
    Grease two 1-pound coffee cans (or small pans) and fill half full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    This is delicious with cream cheese served with fruit.
