Hard Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Karo
1 c. water
1 tsp. flavoring oil
food color
powdered sugar
Preparation
-
Mix sugar, Karo and water. Stir to dissolve and boil to 310\u00b0 on candy thermometer (crack stage). Add flavoring and color. Pour onto foil lined with powdered sugar (thick layer). Cool slightly and cut with sharp scissors into squarish shapes.
