Chicken Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. minced onions
    1 c. whole button mushrooms
    1 c. diced celery
    1 1/2 c. shredded, cooked chicken
    1 1/2 c. meat stock or water
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Brown the onion and mushrooms in butter.
    Add the chicken, celery, meat stock, soy sauce and sugar.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Blend together the cornstarch and cold water and stir into the chicken mixture.
    Cook until thickened and clear.
    Serve on chow mein noodles or rice.
