Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oats
1 stick oleo, softened
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Pour boiling water over quick oats; cover and let stand while mixing other ingredients, about 10 minutes.
Cream oleo, sugars and eggs together and add oatmeal mixture.
Mix thoroughly and mix in remaining ingredients.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
