Honeymoon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 c. sugar
    1 large instant vanilla pudding
    1 can coconut
    1 can (large) crushed pineapple
    1 medium Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cook cake as directed. Mix sugar and pineapple together when cake comes out of the oven. While hot, punch holes in top and pour sugar and pineapple mixture over cake.
    Mix instant pudding as directed and pour over cake. Spread Cool Whip over top of pudding. Sprinkle coconut on top of Cool Whip and sprinkle chopped pecans over coconut. Cover and put in refrigerator overnight before serving.
