Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 cups cornbread mix
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup oil
3 eggs, beaten
1 large onion, grated
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 lb. or more of bacon, fried crisp then crumbled
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 cup cream style corn
1/2 cup japaleno pepper, chopped (fresh or canned)
1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1/4 cup pimentos, chopped
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 cup hot water (100~)
2/3 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg for a thick batter, or
2 eggs for a thinner batter

Bake on a greased griddle.
