Zucchini Parmigiana - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. zucchini (about 4 medium)
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 c. diced onions
    2 cloves minced garlic
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. grated Romano cheese
    8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
    ground pepper
Preparation
    Cut zucchini in half lengthwise.
    Cut each half crosswise into 1/4-inch slices.
    Should have about 6 cups.
    Set aside.
