Saucy Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut into bite size pieces
    1/3 to 1/2 c. Heinz 57 sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, milk and egg.
    Shape into 20 meatballs.
    Brown well in shortening.
    Drain excess fat.
    Sprinkle meatballs with flour; stir gently to coat. Combine tomatoes, Heinz 57 sauce and salt.
    Pour over meatballs. Simmer, uncovered, for 25 minutes or until desired consistency. Stir occasionally.
    Serve over noodles, if desired.
