Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. strawberries, rinsed and hulled
    2 c. 1/2-inch pieces rhubarb
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Prepare pastry.
    Roll out half and line 9-inch pie pan for pastry shell.
    Combine strawberries with rhubarb.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.
    Stir into fruit thoroughly.
    Turn into pastry shell.
    Dot with butter or margarine.
    Roll out remaining pastry for top crust.
    Place over filling and cut slits for steam to escape.
    Trim and flute edges.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Place on rack to cool.
    Yields 7 servings.
