Apple-Stuffed Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 acorn squash
    3 red apples
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Cut
    squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
    Wash, core and dice apples.
    Combine with syrup and margarine.
    Fill squash with this mixture.\tBrush with margarine.
    Place inside 14-inch Dutch
    oven
    and
    pour
    in a 1/4 cup of boiling water. Bake 1 hour at medium heat.
    Make
    sure
    water\tlevel is maintained. Replenish water as necessary.
