German Apple Cake - cooking recipe

3 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 to 3 tsp. butter or margarine, softened
3/4 to 1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 c. salad oil
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 to 4 c. apples, diced
3 oz. or 6 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine eggs and salad oil. Beat on high speed of electric mixer until fluffy. Blend in sugar. Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to other mixture. Mix well. Stir in apples and nuts. Mix again. Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan that has been greased and floured at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
