Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    1 qt. milk (I use dry)
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    flour
    1 heaping tsp. baking powder
    1 level tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. salt
    flour (enough to make a soft dough)
Preparation
    Scald mixture
    of
    sugar,
    Crisco
    and\tmilk.
    Let milk mixture cool
    to
    lukewarm.
    Add dry yeast and enough flour to make a
    batter
    the consistency of cake batter.
    Cover and let rise until\tdouble\tin bulk, about 1 hour.\tAdd baking powder, soda, salt\tand
    enough
    flour
    to\tmake
    a soft dough.
    Flour fingers and form balls of dough, about golf-ball size.
    Put in greased muffin
    tin.
    Cover
    and let rise until double in bulk again, about 1 hour.
    Bake in 450\u00b0 oven 15 to 20 minutes.
