Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. white sugar
    3 pt. cream
    3 c. Karo syrup
    parawax (walnut size)
Preparation
    Put sugar, Karo and 1 pint cream in large pan.
    Stir constantly until boiling.
    Cook to 236\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Add second pint of cream and cook again to 236\u00b0.
    Add third pint cream and parawax and cook to 242\u00b0.
    Pour in buttered pans (large recipe).
