Frosted Orange Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. ginger ale
    1 c. whipping cream
    1/2 c. salad dressing or mayonnaise
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    3 Tbsp. toasted coconut
Preparation
    Drain fruit; reserve juice.
    Add enough water to juice to make 1 3/4 cups.
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Stir in reserved juice and ginger ale.
    Chill until consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
    Fold in fruit and spoon into lightly oiled 12 x 8 x 2-inch dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Beat whipping cream until soft peaks form.
    Fold in salad dressing and marshmallows.
    Spread on top of fruit mixture.
    Sprinkle coconut over top.
    Chill well. Serves 12.
