Mexican Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1 c. white cream-style corn
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/3 c. melted shortening
    1 small can chopped green chilies
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in greased casserole dish and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Serves 8.
