Betty'S Meat Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground meat
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 tsp. salt or to taste
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 can tomato soup
    1 (12 oz.) can corn, drained
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) box corn muffin mix
Preparation
    Brown crumbled meat in large skillet; drain off fat.
    Add onion, salt, pepper, chili powder, kidney beans and corn; let simmer, covered, for about 15 minutes.
