Chili Beans And Rice(Makes A Great Side Dish For Burrito Casserole) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. quick cooking rice
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. canned chili beans
    1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 oz.)
Preparation
    In a
    microwave-safe
    dish, place water, uncooked rice, onion, green pepper, bouillon granules and chili powder.
    Cook covered on High for
    2
    to
    3
    minutes or until vegetables are tender and water
    is
    absorbed.
    Stir
    in beans.
    Microwave on High for 2 to 3
    minutes
    or
    until heated through.
    Stir and sprinkle with cheese before serving.
    Serves 4.
