Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pastry shell (9-inch deep dish)
    4 slightly beaten eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    nutmeg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. scalded sweet milk
Preparation
    Chill pie shell while making filling.
    Blend eggs, sugar and salt.
    Add flavorings.
    Gradually stir in the scalded milk.
    Pour in pie shell.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool before cutting.
