Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil
    2 lb. round steak, cut into strips
    1 tsp. salt
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic
    2 green peppers, cut into strips
    2 to 3 hot peppers (optional)
    1 1/2 c. beef stock
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Heat oil and brown meat.
    Add salt.
    Add onion, garlic, green peppers and hot peppers.
    Pour in beef stock.
    Cover and cook 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
    Blend water, soy sauce and cornstarch. Stir into broth.
    Cook until liquid is translucent.
    Serve on rice.
