Tangy Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. onion
1 Tbsp. oil
1 to 1 1/2 lb. beef, cubed
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 Tbsp. paprika
1/2 c. red wine vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. tomato paste
1 can beef broth
1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
6 medium potatoes
6 to 7 carrots
zucchini
1 bay leaf
Preparation

Saute onion and pepper in shortening in a large skillet.
Add ground beef and brown well. Add tomato juice, rice, chili powder and seasonings.
Stir well. Pour into casserole; cover.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Serves 4.
