Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. rice
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 to 3 carrots, chopped or grated
    2 to 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    oil
    4 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute onion, carrot and garlic in oil.
    Add rice and salt. Stir until it is coated with oil.
    Bring to a boil and cover. Cook over a low heat for about 20 to 25 minutes.
