Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    5 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. water
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
    3 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Add vanilla to butter.
    Add sugar (5 tablespoons).
    Add water, flour and nuts.
    Shape into balls.
    Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Roll in remaining sugar.
