Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
3 c. milk (buttermilk)
grated rind of 2 lemons
3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add beaten eggs.
Sift flour, salt and soda.
Add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture.
Beat well after each addition. Stir in rind.
Bake in greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour in a 325\u00b0 oven or until toothpick test comes out clean.
