Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Wesson oil
1 c. cooked prunes
1 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream sugar and oil.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour. Beat well.
Add vanilla and prunes.
Mix well.
Bake for 1 hour.
