Firecracker Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. spicy brown mustard
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    2 thick lemon slices
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. ketchup
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    3 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 tsp. hot red pepper sauce
Preparation
    Combine first 10 ingredients in small saucepan.
    Bring to a boil over moderately high heat.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes.
    Remove from heat and discard lemon slices.
    Stir in remaining ingredients. Cool to room temperature.
    Can be refrigerated or placed in freezer in a tightly covered container.
