Grandma'S Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. vanilla or butter flavoring
    2 3/4 c. flour (self-rising)
Preparation
    Mix all together.
    Shape into a long roll about 3 inches thick and wrap in wax paper.
    Freeze for 2 hours.
    Slice and bake approximately at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    (Can keep in freezer as long as you wish, up to 3 months.
    Bake when ready.)
