Black Walnut Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. canned milk
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
    1 c. chopped black walnuts (do not chop fine)
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, white sugar and milk.
    Boil until it becomes like syrup.
    Add egg and flour or cornstarch; boil a few minutes longer.
    Remove from heat; add walnuts and beat.
    Cool filling.
    Spread between yellow or white cake layers and on top.
