Jalapeno Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

1/2 to 1 c. chopped onions
2 Tbsp. butter
1 pkg. frozen spinach
2 cans cream of chicken soup
4 green onion tops
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
4 to 6 c. chopped, cooked chicken
2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
1 large pkg. Doritos (do not crush)
1 pt. sour cream
3 to 6 jalapeno peppers, sliced
Preparation

Saute onions in butter.
Blend spinach that has been cooked and drained well.
Add jalapenos, sour cream, soup and onion tops.
In a large Pyrex pan, alternate layers of Doritos, sauteed mixture and cheese; top layer to be cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
