No-Beat Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated milk (1 small can)
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    3 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. candied cherries, cut up (optional)
Preparation
    Combine sugar, milk and butter in a heavy saucepan and heat to boiling over medium heat.
    Stir constantly and cook for 6 minutes. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and marshmallows; stir until mixture is smooth.
    Stir in nuts and cherries.
    Pour into a buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch dish and let stand until set.
    Cut into squares.
