Country Style Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 cube steaks
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. flour
    1 medium onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2 c. water
    oil
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and pepper together.
    Roll each steak in flour mixture.
    Preheat a skillet on medium-high heat and brown steaks on each side.
    Remove steaks from pan and place in a baking dish. With remaining flour, make a gravy in the drippings using the water as liquid.
    Add cream of mushroom soup to gravy and pour over steaks.
    Place sliced onion over steaks; cover with foil. Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Yields 6 servings.
