Christmas Fruit Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. dates, diced
    1 or 2 lb. candied fruits, diced (used for fruit cakes)
    7 c. pecans, cut in small pieces
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    3 c. flour
    1 (8 oz.) box raisins
    1 c. brandy or whiskey
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, soda and cinnamon.
    Use 1 cup flour over fruit and nuts and mix well.
    Then mix other part with liquid.
    Add brandy slowly to liquid.
    Stir liquid part into fruit mixture.
