Traditional Scripture Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour, divided (1 Kings 3:22)
    2 tsp. baking powder (Corinthians 5:6)
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg (1 Kings 10:25)
    1/2 tsp. salt (Leviticus 2:13)
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    2 c. sugar (Jeremiah 6:10)
    1 c. (2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened (Judges 5:25)
    2 Tbsp. honey (Proverbs 24:13)
    6 eggs, separated (Isaiah 10:14)
    1/2 c. milk (Genesis 24:13)
    2 c. chopped almonds (Numbers 17:8)
    2 c. chopped dates or figs (Nehemiah 3:12)
    2 c. raisins (1 Samuel 30:12)
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Heat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan.
    Mix 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder, spices and salt in medium bowl. Beat sugar, margarine and honey in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add flour mixture alternately with milk, beating after each addition until smooth.
