Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    4 strips bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 (8 oz.) cans chopped clams with broth
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter or oleo
    1/2 c. flour
    1 qt. milk
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. half and half
Preparation
    Pare potatoes and cook in boiling water with salt until tender, about 10 to 15 minutes.
    Drain and cut into bite-size cubes.
    In large frypan, cook bacon until crisp.
    Remove from pan and chop into small pieces.
    Cook onion in bacon drippings until clear.
    Add clams with broth and simmer 5 minutes.
