Ingredients

1 lb. white potatoes
1/2 small onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
black pepper to taste
1 egg
1/3 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. cracker meal
Preparation

Grate potatoes and onion finely.
Put into bowl.
Stir in rest of ingredients.
Drop into 1/4-inch deep fat in skillet.
Brown; drain on paper towels.
