Spiced Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (29 oz.) cans sliced peaches
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    4 sticks cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Drain peaches; save syrup.
    Combine syrup, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon sticks and cloves in a saucepan.
    Bring to boil, then lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Pour hot syrup over peaches.
    Let cool, then store in refrigerator.
