Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pt. strawberries
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell
whipped cream
large strawberries (for garnish)
Preparation

Place half of strawberries in saucepan with cornstarch, sugar, water and lemon juice.
Cook, stirring often, until berries are soft and mixture is thickened.
Cool.
Stir in remaining berries. Pour into pastry shell.
Chill until firm.
Serve with whipped cream and garnish with whole strawberries.
