Easy Good Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 egg whites
2-1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. butter or crisco, room temperature
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
Pinch of salt

Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff; slowly add powdered sugar and beat well.
Add butter, vanilla extract, and salt.
Spread on cake.
(Add food coloring if desired.)
