Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chopped apples
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. plain flour
    2 eggs, beaten slightly
    1 c. corn oil
    2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place chopped apples and nuts in a bowl and add sugar.
    Let stand 1 hour before mixing.
    Stir often until moisture rises. Sift flour and spices in a bowl and stir in oil, eggs and vanilla. Add nuts and apple mixture to batter.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until done (about 1 hour).
    Makes 2 small loaves.
    Wrap while hot.
