Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
1 tsp. salt
2 onions, finely chopped
3 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 c. milk

Preparation

Mix unsifted dry ingredients.
Add eggs, chopped onions and enough milk to make a stiff batter.
Drop by spoonfuls into hot grease.
Brown on both sides. Drain. Serves 4 to 6.
