Easy Tender Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in serving pieces
    sprinkle to taste with salt, pepper and garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. fat
    2 medium onions, thinly sliced
    2 medium sized green peppers, diced
    3/4 c. warm water or enough to cover meat
Preparation
    Sprinkle steak to taste with salt, pepper and garlic powder. In a heavy skillet, melt fat.
    Add onions and seasoned meat.
    Cook over medium heat, turning frequently, until browned.
    Add green peppers and water to cover meat.
    Cover pan and reduce heat. Simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
    Add more water during cooking, if necessary.
    Serve over rice.
