Indian Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk, scalded
    5 Tbsp. cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. molasses
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Gradually add cornmeal to scalded milk, stirring constantly and continue to cook in double boiler for 20 minutes.
    Add all the other ingredients and turn into buttered baking dish.
    Pour 1 cup cold milk over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serve with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
